ONAF is the National Organization of Cheese Tasters, committed to the promotion and protection of quality products such as the Vastedda della valle del Belìce DOP.
The Slow Food foundation contributes to the enhancement of food and wine products and to the protection of agricultural and production traditions around the world.
The enhancement work is divided into different areas of intervention, through producers training or the strengthening the market and improving production processes.
The main project of the Foundation is the management of Presidia. Their task is to safeguard quality artisanal products such as the Vastedda of the Belìce valley.
