The Vastedda del Belìce PDO at #Cheese2023

Eight cheeses representing five Italian regions, and the journey of the LoST project beginning, with support from the European Union, on the theme of sustainability and promotion of small dairy denominations.
LoST, (Looking for the Sustainability of Taste in Europe), represents the search for those tastes to be rediscovered in the name of authenticity and sustainability.
Vastedda della Valle del Belìce DOP, along with LoST's other cheeses, also speaks of lost roots, families and communities, bringing back agricultural ethics and offering alternatives for the future.

Rediscovering something that seems lost, forgotten traditions and stories of a past with different rules but dictated by the close relationship with nature. LoSt aims to stimulate people to reflect, to ask questions, to set out on a journey of discovery of new practices and values, to make our cheeses find their lost consumer
